Sensabot Surface Challenges

What I did to create this chart is, First, I took my robot outside to the blacktop I ran the standard sensabot challenge. It got a time of 13.57 Next, I put the robot on the tile surface and ran it. It got a time of 12.36. Last, I put the robot on the carpet it got the 13.57. I'm hoping you enjoyed learning about this experience.

The independent variable in this experiment is surface. An independent variable is the thing that is changed in a scientific experiment.

Sensabot Challenge

video (Please click "Run This Time" To play the video.)

The first block moves 4 wheel rotations so it gets to the first line. The second and third block are the opposite. They make the arm move down and back up. It repeats 3 times. We needed it to back up into the box. We had to code it from our computers. It took us a lot of tries but we finally got it.
